Willkommen am MIT! The 5th German MBA Conference will take place from Friday, November 16th to Sunday, November 18th at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 2003 at Harvard Business School as the first networking event for the German-speaking MBA community at the
top US business schools, the German MBA Conference this year returns to its New England roots. The weekend will be centered around the founding mission of the conference:
- to create a unique opportunity for German-speaking MBA students to build a network
- to connect them with exciting firms and speakers
- to spend an enjoyable weekend in the intellectual hub of Boston
The conference is structured around panels and speeches providing a forum for students and company representatives to share their views on topics such as
the future of the "Deutschland AG", the role of Germany in Greater Europe as well as career opportunities with a German focus. Attendees this year will also participate in the "Beer Game", developed at MIT in the 1960's. It is based on the discipline of system dynamics and shows how the patterns we create in our
relations with the world around us sometimes gives unexpected and undesired results.
